OUR COTTAGES
The main structure of Villa Susanna St. Lucia is surrounded by three gorgeous cottage suites. Please note that rooms and cottages are not available for individual rental. With the entire property included in your booking and at your disposal, up to 14 guests will enjoy a total 7 bedrooms, each with full en suite bathroom. THE MAIN HOUSE
Villa Susanna is as spacious as it is intimate. It was built using local natural resources and features the finest Italian design with decor and furnishings that make a lasting impression on our guests.
The main house enjoys natural sunlight from dawn to dusk, incredible sunset views and carefully curated artificial lighting in the evenings. Free-flowing spaces capture and reveal the enchanting beauty of the region as they bring together nature and luxury in perfect harmony.
The Kitchen
Immense care has been taken in designing the kitchen, which centers around an island topped with Carrara marble and equipped with an array of appliances. The long dining table lined with comfortable bench seating boasts a view of the stunning southern coastline, and the large capacity refrigerator accommodates several days' worth of fresh groceries.
The Living Room
This space is furnished with decorative elements from around the world, including teak root orbs and colonial accent tables. The space is illuminated with a beautiful fixture in burnished metal. Two plush sofas provide seating for several guests and sliding shutters frame a gorgeous view of the swimming pool and sea.
Private Pool and Gazebo
A boardwalk spans the 65 by 32-foot Infinity Pool as it connects the living room to the Sunset Gazebo overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Descend the stairs into the pool itself or the built-in hydromassage area tiled in yellow limestone for an effect that evokes the nearby Trou Roland Bay. Fitted with a large round table and comfortable wicker chairs, the gazebo is the perfect setting from which to view, and perhaps toast, breathtaking sunsets.
The Dining Room
Access to the ample dining area is through the Wind Tower. Pass under the Murano glass chandelier to find the grand dining table, a single board from the trunk of a Balinese oak resting atop two blocks of Sardinian white granite. The area comfortably seats sixteen and is graced with a 40-inch golden parabola wall lamp that provides a unique ambiance.
The BBQ
The Alfresco gas barbecue grill and pizza oven are a dream come true for enthusiasts of outdoor cooking. The large table situated beneath a wine pergola draped in blue flowers entices guests to dine al fresco in the company of friendly local sparrows and lively hummingbirds.
Emerald Bay
Emerald Bay, the main structure of this luxury villa in the Caribbean, is immersed in the lush vegetation and colorful blooms of a three-acre walled garden that stretches as far as the beach. The space, with its Caribbean-inspired architecture featuring a number of patios and verandas, has been brought to life through the use of the finest materials and enriched with elegant decor. Make it the center for your daily activities and enjoy a dip in the pool just outside. A majestic marble staircase leads guests to Emerald Bay from the drive and main entrance.
Queen's Chain
Villa Susanna sits atop one of the most spectacular sites of the island, the southern cape of the entrance to Marigot Bay. Oriented toward the southwest, the property and its three-acre tropical garden, the Queen's Chain, are bathed in sunshine from dawn until dusk. Explore the garden paths through pristine vegetation and enjoy the view from terraces overlooking the cliffs that drop down to the secluded and dazzling Trou Roland Bay.
Trou Roland Bay
Through the villa's natural lush gardens, a private path leads to the Trou Roland Bay, an intimate and secluded beach sheltered from the sun by overreaching branches. A barbecue grill and broad wooden table serve to make the place a perfect spot to enjoy lunch after an unforgettable morning spent swimming and snorkeling.
The Belvedere Deck
