We returned from Villa Susanna a few days ago and have taken some time to digest the wonderful week we spent on your magical property. Thanks to you and your lovely wife for creating such a paradise. Not a day went by when we did not notice a new architectural detail, piece of art, sculpture, plant or something unique over the acres of property.
The villa and experience exceeded our expectations. When you come in March you will see 2 review in your book. One in my native Afrikaans and one in English. They tell the story.
I must add some words about your magical staff: Ann in charge of the housekeeping and general house was a sweetheart who took amazing care of us and especially my Mother-in Law who was not so well. She displayed so much love and caring and did a magnificent job in making sure the house sparkled. She cares about Villa Susanna as if it were her own home.

Lucella – not just a cook but a maestro in the kitchen. She has the sweetest soul and smile and we fell in love with her. We used her probably 4 or 5 times for dinners and each meal was more superb than the last. These 2 ladies are the heartbeat of the experience and could not have been more warm or lovely. We miss them.
Captain Roy! We enjoyed the boat twice and he took great care of us. A man of few words but a beautiful and caring soul. He selected for us a fish from a local fisherman whilst on the water. Lucella cooked it on the bbq to perfection. What a highlight! Roy went out of his way to assist and guide us…and he is an amazing Captain.

Sandro – use of the boat is a very nice and kind addition/ We really loved seeing St Lucia from the water J Thank you!

Darlene – a joy to work with and so very nice & caring. A delightful and professional young lady.

Sandro – you have assembled a superb team at Villa Susanna. They are a huge part of the success and you can feel very proud in the way they look after your guests.

We rented Villa Susanna for a week in July, and I must say it was amazing. The architecture, the staff, the location and the food, all beyond expectation. I’m very happy that we chose this villa to have our wedding. I recommend anyone who is traveling to St-Lucia to enjoy this amazing island while having the chance to stay at Villa Susanna. By the way, the boat and the captain (Roy) were great, we went fishing and snorkeling at Sugar beach. I wish you all a great vacation to Villa Susanna!

We spent a week at Villa Susanna at the end of March 2018. A group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 teens for Senior Year Spring Break. In summary… OUTSTANDING! I have no doubt that Villa Susanna will EXCEED your expectations. Browse the website. Absolutely beautiful. In fact, the villa is more spectacular than the photos can convey. The exterior design and construction details, the expanse, the interior design and the physical setting are all impeccable. Every detail has been addressed. Completely open air ( if you choose), first class furnishings, incredible views, great location, OUTDOOR SHOWERS (also if you choose), and a wonderful staff complete the experience. Absolutely more than we expected. Lucilla (Cook), Ann (Housekeeping), and Roy (Driver and Captain) truly made the week. Special THANKS to them.

Villa Susanna is a spectacular and very special place. This luxury villa consists of several different structures, including a main house, which has a stunning stone entryway, as well as a very large kitchen and beautiful large living room and dining area. This space is graced with a beautiful Italian touch, including fixtures made from the famous Murano glass. Most of it is open to the outside, so the lovely gardens and local plants are visible from just about everywhere. The villa is clearly designed to bring the outside in. The living area leads to a gorgeous pool and gazebo, just perfect for viewing the sunset. The rest of the villa consists of three separate buildings, one containing a beautiful master suite offering a sweeping view of the pool area and the ocean. The two other buildings, each with a gorgeous view, contain a master suite and separate twin room. These buildings are nestled into the hillside, making the villa an integral part of its environment, blending perfectly into the surrounding natural world. Villa Susanna is truly a beautiful paradise that is unlike any luxury accommodation I’ve ever experienced. It has a special feeling that makes guests feel relaxed and happy. You can tell that its construction was a labor of love, with every detail carefully planned. I highly recommend Villa Susanna to anyone wanting a luxurious tropical vacation. I was so sad to leave and will definitely go back.

It is the perfect place to cuddle yourself and your family in contact with nature , the ocean and the wonders of the Caribbean. Wir sind gerade mit unseren Freunden und Verwandten aus England nach unserem Aufenthalt in der Villa Susanna in New York angekommen. Wir haben zwar ein paar Eintragungen im Gästebuch gemacht, aber ich dachte, wir sollten Ihnen ein Mail schicken, um Ihnen zu sagen, dass wir eine wunderbare Zeit hatten, Ihnen zu sagen, dass Sie etwas äußerst Bemerkenswertes und Besonderes geschaffen haben. Wir sind schon in vielen Villen in vielen Ländern gewesen, aber die Villa Susanna hebt sich von allen ab.
Die Umgebung der Villa Susanna ist bewundernswert, aber das Design der Villa ist überragend. Es verstärkt die Ausblicke, und der offene Wohnbereich in Verbindung mit den drei getrennten Suiten hat uns selbst in unser großen Gruppen nie ein Gefühl der Enge vermittelt. Es gibt dort so viele private und einladende Sitzplätze, von denen aus man das Wetter, die Kolibris, die Aussicht und die Blumen genießen kann. Es war als hätten wir unser eigenes Privathotel. Wir waren so zufrieden in der Villa, dass wir kaum woanders hingegangen sind – außer auf unsere zwei Bootsfahrten mit Roy zum Schnorcheln auf Ihrem wunderbaren Motorboot.
Ebenso empfehlen wir wärmstens Ihre Angestellten. Lucilla hat wunderbare Mittag- und Abendmenus kreiert, Anne und ihre Helferinnen haben alles sauber gehalten trotz unserer großen Zahl an Gästen, Nina war sehr wirkungsvoll und der Rest der Mannschaft war völlig unaufdringlich.
Wir fanden nicht nur das Design wunderschön, sondern ganz besonders das balinesische Mobiliar. Wir konnten nicht umhin zu glauben, dass wir Sie kennen, so sehr hat uns die Möblierung Einblick in Ihren Geschmack gegeben. Ganz besonders haben uns der riesige und imposante Esstisch beeindruckt (Aus was für einem Holz ist er? Wie viel wiegt der? Und wie haben Sie ihn dahin geschafft?), der effektvolle Lüster im Eingangsbereich (Wie um Himmels Willen haben Sie den am Stück dort hingeschafft?), die vielen interessanten Kunstgegenstände und die atemberaubenden Gärten und die Blumen an jedem Ort (die Orchideen, zum Beispiel, die aus den Kokosnüssen sprießen, die an die Palmen gebunden wurden).
Es war natürlich sehr schwer wieder zu gehen und wir würden gerne, das nötige Geld vorausgesetzt, eines Tages wieder hierherkommen. Selbst wenn wir nie wiederkommen werden, so sollten Sie wissen, dass es ein Privileg für mich war, meinen Geburtstag an einem solchen Ort zu feiern und dass wir Ihnen für die Gelegenheit danken in den Genuss der Villa gekommen zu sein. Es gibt wenige Ort auf die das Wort Paradies mit Fug und Recht zutrifft. Die Villa Susanna ist einer dieser Orte.

Ich wollte Euch beiden aufrichtig für unseren herrlichen Aufenthalt in Eurem schönen Zuhause danken. Es ist in der Tat ein zauberhafter Ort, mit schönen Ausblicken, fabelhaften Räumen zum Entspannen, interessante und geschmackvolle Kunstwerke und Gärten voller Farben und Tieren. Die Aufmerksamkeit fürs Detail und die Sorgfalt mit der die Villa gebaut wurde und unterhalten wird ist etwas, auf das Ihr sicher ganz stolz seid. Deshalb nochmals danke.
Ich wollte Euch auch ein Kompliment machen, wie toll die Villa geführt wird. Ein besonderer Dank an Ann und Lucilla, die nicht nur liebevolle Menschen sind, sondern auch sehr professionelle und fähige Hausdamen.
Unsere Zimmer waren immer blitzeblank sauber und Lucillas Kochkünste waren von höchstem Niveau.
Wir werden alle sehr traurig sein, wenn diese unvergesslichen Ferien zu Ende gehen und wir Saint Lucia und die netten, offenherzigen Menschen verlassen müssen. Wir hoffen, dass wir in einer nicht allzu fernen Zukunft wiederkommen.
